Von Rawson nach Caleta Sara

LIEBE LESER, BILDER KÖNNEN WIR ERST WIEDER HOCHLADEN WENN WIR EINE INTERNETVERBINDUNG HABEN: VIELLEICHT IN PUERTO DESEADO ODER USHUAIA.

Die Reise von Rawson bis Caleta Sara war geprägt von dauerndem Segelwechsel. Wir liefen bei strahlendem Sonnenschein aus Rawson aus, ein frischer Ostwind, der während des Abends au NE drehte und stark auffrischte bescherte uns über 7 kn Fahrt. Um 01.00 Uhr am 20.11. totale Flaute und von 06.20 Uhr bis 08.45 Uhr motorten wir, dann kam der Wind aus NW und gleich wieder mit 6 Windstärken. Um 14.50 Uhr standen wir vor der Einfahrt der Caleta Sara, die nur sehr schwer auszumachen war. Laut Handbuch sollte an der Stb Seite der Einfahrt ein 10 m hoher Gitterturm stehen, den wir aber nicht sehen konnten. Schließlich entdeckten wir, dass er umgeweht auf der Seite lag. Nach der Einfahrt befanden wir uns in einer ca. 100 x 400 m großen, sehr geschützten Lagune. Rechts ein schöner Strand, wo wir das Boot aufsetzten. Frank sprang ins eiskalte Wasser und wir brachten 4 lange Landleinen aus, die er an großen Felsen befestigte. Hier liegen wir nun geschützt in totaler Ruhe und Einsamkeit.
