During the night of the 31st the wind changed to North and with the strong morningtide we sailed trough the Waddenzee. At 15.40h we passed Den Helder. Now we faced a strong northerly swell and the boat was rolling heavily. The sky was nice blue, but the air still cold. The wind eased down and we changed to our spinnaker. At 23.30h we passed Ijmuiden. At 05.15h the wind had gone and we deceided to enter the port of Scheveningen, which was just 6nm away. At the 2nd of June we left Scheveningen with the morningtide again under spinnaker, later we changed the sails because the Northwind piped up. At 00.30h we crossed the Schelde Waterway between two big containerships and at 03.20h the boat was moored in Oostende in the Royal North Sea Yacht Club. It was a wunderfull night and we celebrated a few drinks in the cockpit before we went to bed.
