At Porto Santo

One hour before a school of dolphins and a little while later a few whales had welcomed us. Porto Santo is an almost deserted Island with very little vegetation. The main attraction is the 8 km long white sand beach which starts just behind the yacht harbour. So every day we took long swims in the warm ocean. Barbara met a nice Portuguise lady named Paula, which drove us with her car over the Island. Long bicycles tours where performed and we where shocked when we saw that on this little island huge hotelcomplexes where errected.

Frank made a diving course and has the garde of an “Open Water Diver” now. He also bought a complete diving equipment. On the 6th of September we sailed with a fine breeze the 30 nm to Madeira.
