At the 22.nd of September, the sky was grey. we heaved up our anchor and sailed with a NE'ly wind along the westcoast of Lanzarote. The coast is all vulcanic and black and from sea only a few small villages could be seen, when suddenly a big turtle swam along the boat. A while later we saw a black fin close to us and we thought it must have been a busketshark. Also I showed Barbara the first flying fish during this whole voyage. That was a lot to see on such a short trip of only 33 nm. At 17:15 pm we where moored in the Marina Rubicon in the south of Lanzarote.
We will fly home now untill the 15th of November, because we can not start our voyage to the Cap Verde Islands before the beginning of December. Frank will stay onboard.
